Staff Selection Commission released a notice after completion of SSC CHSL exam on 28 March 2018.
NOTICE: The Commission is conducting the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination (Tier-I), 2017 from 4.3.2018 to 28.3.2018. The examination has been conducted at 442 venues in 101 cities for 63,49,545 registered candidates across the country. 26,51,962 candidates have taken the examination. This examination was conducted successfully without any major incident under strict surveillance and elaborate security arrangements. During the conduct of the examination, 40 cases of exam related malpractices/impersonation were detected at different venues across the country for which police complaints / FIRs have been registered and appropriate action is being taken against the delinquent candidates as per Rules. The Commission is fully sensitized on the media reports regarding the involvement of some gangs in assisting candidates in cheating/exam related malpractices in the computer-based examinations conducted by various agencies across the country. The Commission is in interaction with the UP STF, Rajasthan Police and Delhi Police, who have detected involvement of such gangs during the course of the investigation related to the examinations conducted by the State Governments. The Commission has asked for specific information regarding assistance given by these gangs to any candidate who appeared in CHSLE (Tier-I), 2017 or any other examination conducted by the Commission.
